Basil Pesto Hummus

This simple recipe combines all of the nutrients and benefits that hummus has to offer, with the delicious taste of basil pesto! One of the great things about hummus is that it is easily customizable, and I am happy to say this is my favorite hummus recipe I have created. Basil pesto adds such good flavor to almost anything, and this is no exception. It pairs well with veggies, chips, or pita bread as a dip, or is the perfect addition to your favorite sandwiches, wraps, or pastas! The possibilities are endless! And because you can whip up this healthy recipe in as little as 5 minutes, what are you waiting for?

  • Tahini

  • Minced garlic

  • Lemon juice

  • Basil pesto

  • Cold water

  • Salt

Ingredients

  • 15 oz. can of chickpeas
  • 2 tbsp tahini
  • 2 tbsp basil pesto
  • 1 tbsp minced garlic
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup cold water
  • 1/2 tsp salt

Instructions

  1. First, add all ingredients to a food processor.
  2. Blend for 1 minute and enjoy!
