If you enjoy hot, crispy, salty french fries, but hate the calories, this recipe is for you!
Ingredients
- 4 medium russet potatoes
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp salt
Instructions
- Start by preheating your oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit
- Next, wash off your potatoes and slice them into a french fry shape. The way I prefer to do this is to cut the ends off, slice the potato short-ways every inch or so to make round slices, then cut those across 3 or 4 times to make fries that aren't too long or thick.
- Then toss your potato slices with the olive oil and sprinkle with the salt and pepper.
- Spread the slices out evenly on parchment paper, and bake for 30 minutes, giving them a quick stir halfway through. Feel free to cook them longer if you would like them more crispy.
- Enjoy with your favorite dipping sauce!
Notes
Parchment paper works best when baking potatoes so they don't stick!
