Jalapeno Cheese Chips

These two ingredient cheesy chips are the easiest low carb crunchy snack with a spicy kick! With only cheddar and jalapeno, you can create a savory snack loaded with flavor and high in protein. These can be eaten by themselves or with your favorite dip. I personally just like to dip them in sour cream! If you have kids that love to help in the kitchen, this is also something easy and fun for them to make. If you don’t like a lot of spice, just leave the jalapeno off and they still make great low carb chips!

These two ingredient cheesy chips are the easiest low carb crunchy snack with a spicy kick!

Ingredients

  • 2 cups medium shredded cheddar
  • 1/4 cup canned jalapeno slices, or about 12 slices

Instructions

  1. First, preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Next, line a baking pan with parchment paper.
  3. Take a good pinch of cheese and place it on the parchment paper, creating a little mound. adding a jalapeno on top. Repeat this until you run out of room on the pan, placing them about an inch apart from each other. I usually can make about 12 at a time.
  4. Place in the oven for 7-8 minutes, until they are bubbly and starting to crisp around the edges.
  5. Remove from the oven and let them cool. This will allow them to crisp more.
  6. Enjoy by themselves or try dipping them in sour cream, guacamole, or ranch!
