This is the ultimate vegan cheese sauce recipe, and is so quick and simple to make! As a lifelong cheese lover, I am so pleased to have finally created the best vegan cheese sauce I have tasted thus far. There are many different ways to make vegan cheese, but this cashew based recipe is a must try! You will be eating this on everything, from chips, to burritos, to pasta, and everything in between!   • Cashews

  • Nutritional yeast

  • Oat milk

  • Onion powder

  • Salt

This is the ultimate vegan cheese sauce recipe, and is so quick and simple to make!

Ingredients

  • 2.5 cups cashews
  • 1.5 cups oat milk
  • 4 tbsp nutritional yeast
  • 3 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp onion powder

Instructions

  1. Add all ingredients to a large blender.
  2. Blend on low for 10-15 seconds, then blend on high for 1 minute, until everything is well combined.
  3. This cheese sauce is served best at room temperature as a dip, or added to any dish of your choice!

Notes

  • For a thinner sauce, feel free to add more milk.
  • If you choose to heat this up, either add to a pot on low heat and stir frequently or microwave for 10 seconds at a time and stir in between to avoid burning it.
