Who doesn’t love a sweet, delicious, homemade jam full of blackberries, blueberries, strawberries, and raspberries? This recipe is very quick and easy to make. Berries are incredibly healthy, being high in fiber, vitamin C, and antioxidants, and still low in calories. On top of that, this recipe has the added benefits of chia seeds, which are also high in fiber and very nutrient dense. This filling jam pairs exceptionally well in parfaits, toast, or even a peanut butter and jelly sandwich! It's a recipe your whole family is sure to love.

Ingredients

  • 16oz bag of frozen Berry Medley
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp chia seeds
  • 1 tsp lemon juice

Instructions

  1. First, pour the bag of frozen berries into a pot on high heat, and let cook for 5-7 minutes.
  2. Next, add the honey and lemon and mash the mixture up well with a fork or potato masher.
  3. Stir in the chia seeds and let simmer for 10 minutes.
  4. Store in the refrigerator and enjoy!
